Art Nouveau Design 2

I've used the 4th complex as in 'Art Nouveau Design 1'. Rotated & scaled the arrangement a bit.

Recently bought a book called 'Art Nouveau' by Lara-Vinca Masini. Art Nouveau is one my favourite forms of art. After a lot of weird dreams induced by this book, I decided to take a crack at it. A bit of fooling around & there you have it!

The 1st complex created by the motif reminds me of chitinous wings of a fly. By that logic:

* Fly + Fly = Moth (The 2nd complex)

* Moth + Moth = 2 Moths Plotting World Domination (The 3rd complex)

* (2 Moths Plotting World Domination)+ (2 Moths Plotting World Domination) = 2 Moths Plotting World Domination, squashed by a Maltese Cross (The 4th complex, by now a horrible mess)

Aashiq thought that the deisgn on the fly's wings resembled a man in the padmasana pose.

Migrane a.k.a 'The Migrane Caused by Unidentified Flying Objects of the Stainless Steel Kind'. This picture coupled with a lot of Morgan Freeman movies went on to inspire an idea for a horror story. Unfortunately the story died a premature death. Ink on assignment paper.

Butterfly Shockwave

The shcokwave effect was an accident. I was trying to draw human figures in various poses in under 10 seconds time for practise. Erased a particular pose's limbs & left the torso & head (which latter beacame the butterfly's body). Added in wings. Spongings & smearings later Voila!

Ocassionally I go nuts & do a self portrait. Besides, if any of my stuff has got a beard you could definitely conclude that I'm indulging in narcissism. This was done about the same time as 'Insulated' using MS Paint.

This image was inspired by insulated copper wires & an emotional low. A bit cartoony.
